    2. After 9/11 many things changed like how people act and feel. Nowadays, people can't help but feel insecure around people who are different from them because the terrorists were fundamentalist Muslims. People who are afraid and anxious are very careful about what they do because of terrorism.

  15. After 9/11 a lot of people feared terrorism. They made unrational laws in result of fear. One was the USA Patriot Act. It was created so that law enforcement agencies to be able to tap (hack into) phones and track Internet usage of suspected terrorists. Also they could raid their houses. Some critics were concerned because innocent people could get spyed on. So the Office of Civil Liberties was created to address these issues.

  20. Suspicion for the attack quickly fell on Al-Qaeda. The United States responded to the attacks by launching the War on Terror and invading Afghanistan to depose the Taliban, which had harbored al-Qaeda. Many countries strengthened their anti-terrorism legislation and expanded the powers of law enforcement and intelligence agencies to prevent terrorist attacks. Although al-Qaeda's leader, Osama bin Laden, initially denied any involvement, in 2004 he claimed responsibility for the attacks. Monserrat N.

  33. Many changes have been made after 9/11/01 and some new acts had been created. One change, The Patriot Act, was created to allow certain people(FBI)to tap phones and track internet usage. However, many American citizens were worried that people in power would use this law against innocent people or organizations. And second, because of this, The Office for Civil Liberties and Civil Rights were created to listen to the concerns of the American citizens.

  35. Under two months after 9/11, President George W. Shrubbery marked the Patriot Act, which was stretched out in 2011 by President Barack Obama. Also, the central government extended the capacity of the National Security Agency (NSA) to gather information on U.S. natives, outside nationals and governments. The degree of that development did not turn out to be openly known, be that as it may, until 2013 when Edward Snowden uncovered the broad extent of the NSA's local spying.

  36. One change that occurred after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 was a huge increase in airport security, and security everywhere. For example, many airport practices that occur today didn't exist before the 9/11 attacks. Another change is that agencies such as the FBI had more permission to tap phones, monitor internet usage, etc in order to find out if there were terrorists and/or spies living in the United States.

Another thing is that the emergency services are now on speed dial. With their number being "911" as in Nine eleven. Before they would only come if the destruction was widely visible. Now they come when you call!

The planes hit the twin towers, the pentagon, trade towers and one was flying to the white house but that never happened because it had a crash landing into a field. This day might be a good day for some but can be terrible for others. Every time September 11 comes up everytime i see a plane i say don't make another 9/11. It is a very serious topic and yet till this day I see people joke about it and say "Oh that was the dumbest topic ever.'' People don't know when to stop.
